Returning Student Housing Information, Returning from Absentia and Mid Year Room Changes

Below is information for students who did not select housing during the process and still want housing
or you selected housing and wish to apply for a room change.

The office of housing and residential life provides the Returning Student Dorm Preference form to students who paid the enrollment deposit by the deadline and are returning to campus housing after a leave, absentia, or study abroad semester but did not select housing during the housing selection process in the spring, or paid their enrollment deposit after the deadline and wish to live on campus. Please note that housing for students who deposited late is not guaranteed. Students must return the completed form no later than Friday, May 16th. A review of all requests will begin May 19th, 2014.  Housing placements will continue throughout the summer until all students are housed or we no longer have space available.

Preference will be given to those students who paid the enrollment deposit by the deadline based on the priority system found in the Marlboro College Bylaws, Article VII, C. Late enrollment deposits will be process after all students who paid their enrollment deposit by the deadline are housed, and based on the priority system found in the Marlboro College Bylaws, Article VII, C. Students who choose not to return this form by the deadline will be randomly assigned to an available space in a room with another upper-class student after assignments are made for those students who returned the Returning Student Dorm Preference form.

Students may submit this form with other students to request a roommate or roommates. While we will attempt to maintain these pairings, in some cases we may not be able to honor such requests due to limited space. Some students may be randomly assigned to an available space in a room with another upper-class student, either based on the information provided or as space is available. Those students who wish to change rooms may
complete a request starting on the first day of classes. Notification of your new assignment will be sent to you via your Marlboro e-mail address.

Post Housing Selection Room Change Information

The Room Change Request Form is provided to students who have selected a room during housing selection, but
would like to move to a different dorm/room. Completed forms will be processed according to the priority system found in the Marlboro College Bylaws, Article VIII, C. The form must be returned by May 16, 2014 for
consideration.
The review of requests will begin May 20th and continue as space becomes available throughout the summer.
