The following are instructions for ordering official transcripts for coursework taken at the Marlboro campus. Please check with the Graduate Center if you were a student at the Brattleboro campus.
Visit the National Student Clearinghouse to order and pay for electronic and paper transcripts. You can request a secure PDF copy of your official transcript be emailed to you, to another school or to a third party, and you can upload attachments if needed.
Official transcripts are generally processed within 1-3 business days but may take longer during peak times (the beginning or end of semesters, graduation) or around holidays; please allow additional time for delivery during these periods. Order updates will be emailed to you, and you may also track your order status online.
Transcripts will be released only if all obligations to Marlboro have been met. You will be notified via email if a hold exists with information about which office at the college to contact. Electronic transcript orders are cancelled within 30 days if holds are not resolved.
Cost Transcripts are $5 per copy. In addition, a $2.25 service charge is added per transcript recipient and E-PDF transcripts carry an additional charge of $1.75 for digital signature and security features. Official Transcripts for students who attended prior to 1990 can only be sent via U.S. mail, not electronically.
If the name of the college/university you are sending the transcript to does not appear in the recipient drop-down menu, scroll to the bottom of the list and select "Not in the List". You will then be prompted to enter the name and, once you have selected the delivery method, the address.
Attaching Documents You may upload a maximum of 3 documents (jpg, jpeg, doc and docx file formats accepted) you would like to accompany your official transcript. Examples include your Outside Examiner letter or application forms required by graduate school or scholarship programs. The college assumes no responsibility for the readability of the documents you submit, and the Office of the Registrar must approve all files before the electronic transcript is transmitted.
Rush Service Express Mail service is available within the U.S. only, for an additional fee.
Hold for Grades or Degree Posting You may indicate that you want your transcript processed after final grades or your degree are posted. Grades are generally available within one week after the end of term, and degrees are generally posted two weeks after Commencement.
Marlboro College assumes no responsibility for the accuracy of email and mailing address information provided with your request and is not responsible for any resulting failure to deliver.
Unofficial Transcript Students and alumni with a login to Nook, please log in to print your unofficial transcript or save the PDF file to your computer. Current students and recent alumni (after 2005) will already have a login username and password. If you have graduated and do not have login credentials, you can request an alumni account.
Transcripts from Other Institutions Transcripts that were provided for admissions consideration or for transfer credit evaluation become the property of Marlboro College. Marlboro does not provide copies of transcripts from other institutions that are part of a student's educational record. In order to ensure up-to-date information and ensure that no school protocol of the issuing institution is circumvented, a student must contact the originating school for a copy of that transcript.
