Purpose and Mission
We advance the mission of Marlboro College by raising funds and resources, using the following approach:
- We view Development as an invitation for people to contribute to and help sustain something they value.
- We nurture and engage our supporters in ways that foster relationships and philanthropy.
- We are committed to quality, professionalism, and high standards.
- We value our growth as team members and as individual professionals.
Annual giving is an essential way to support the college and its students. Contributions from faculty and staff do more than provide funds for programs, scholarships, and other needs; they provide a clear and compelling endorsement of the college, signaling to students, alumni, parents and friends that this is a community worthy of support.
Our current faculty and staff participation rate is 27 percent. Your gift of any amount will help increase that percentage and most importantly influence gifts from corporations and foundations, which consider faculty and staff giving rates when determining their own support for Marlboro College.
